It&#8217;s reasonable to expect that lecturers can be more engaging and give more insight than studying a text book alone &#8211; but not necessarily true.<\/p>\n<p>The most value here is in widening participation &#8211; these lectures could reach a lot of people. Combined with other online resources like <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Human_skeleton\">Wikipedia<\/a>, they can be used for learning with far less commitment (e.g. in time and money) than enrolling on an actual course.<\/p>\n<p>Spread the knowledge \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UC Berkely is releasing videos of course lectures on YouTube (including Integrative Biology 131 &#8211; Lecture 05: Skeletal System) .
