Tim Berners-Lee responds to my question (via my @daveowhite persona): \u201cDo you think of the web as technology or people? Not so big on the details part really. I especially like the bit at the end were he makes a pleading face towards what I assume to be the producer. The look basically says \u2018quick let\u2019s move on, there is no way I\u2019m digging into this one\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>I asked the question because I don\u2019t think we have a very good understanding of how society and technology are influencing each other at the moment. Etienne Wenger uses the term \u2018Vortex\u2019 for this relationship which I quite like because it\u2019s fast, chaotic and powerful.<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity to ask Sir Tim questions came via @BBCDigRev on Twitter.
