{"id":203,"date":"2009-06-15T12:47:07","date_gmt":"2009-06-15T12:47:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tallblog.conted.ox.ac.uk\/index.php\/2009\/06\/15\/curriculum-design-guidance-and-phoebe\/"},"modified":"2009-06-15T12:47:07","modified_gmt":"2009-06-15T12:47:07","slug":"curriculum-design-guidance-and-phoebe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tallblog.conted.ox.ac.uk\/index.php\/2009\/06\/15\/curriculum-design-guidance-and-phoebe\/","title":{"rendered":"Curriculum design, guidance and Phoebe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently demonstrated <a href=\"http:\/\/phoebe.ox.ac.uk\">Phoebe<\/a> to the curriculum design and delivery projects for JISC (if you are one of these projects you can access a recording of the talk <a href=\"http:\/\/www.circlespace.net\/blog\/6275\/phoebe_elluminate_session_recording.html\">here<\/a> &#8211; otherwise there is an older video of me demoing it <a href=\"http:\/\/media.conted.ox.ac.uk\/embed_item.php?type=flv&amp;title=Phoebe:%20a%20pedagogic%20planner&amp;id=phoebepedagogicplanner.flv\">here<\/a>).\u00a0 Tim Linsey from Kingston University<a href=\"http:\/\/one.swlacademicnetwork.ac.uk\/etu\/weblog\/1458.html\"> Blogged<\/a> this and it is interesting to see that his conclusions about where Phoebe might be most useful very much chimed with our evaluations.<\/p>\n<p>After not having done much with Phoebe for a while,\u00a0 we are seriously looking at how we can use it in out curriculum delivery project, <a href=\"http:\/\/cascade.conted.ox.ac.uk\/index.php\">Cascade<\/a>.\u00a0 More specifically we are revisiting ways that we can make the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phoebe.ox.ac.uk\/browseGuidance.php\">Phoebe guidance<\/a> more usable,\u00a0 useful and sustainable, both for ourselves and as something that could be consumed by other tools or projects, especially in the context of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/lkl.ac.uk\/ldse\/\">LDSE<\/a> project, but also more widely.<\/p>\n<p>So if you think you might be interested in this, do let us know.
